The National Archives of Iran building was inaugurated in 2002. Constructed on a plot of 7500 square meters, the building encompasses a total floor area of 36000 square meters across 17 floors. The structural frame is designed to be flexible and resistant to sudden vibrations and earthquakes.
The building is constructed on a rectangular concrete base, with the upper floors gradually receding, creating a ziggurat-like structure. The facade features arches and Islamic motifs, reflecting an architectural design inspired by the Islamic era’s aesthetics.
