This unit is responsible for searching, guiding, and advising users to access the library’s information resources. It is located in the library’s entrance hall and currently offers search services with the help of 12 computers for visitors and 5 computers for experts. The services are provided using the following software: Rasa comprehensive software, Index 2000, National Bibliography of Iran CD, National Library of Iran Articles Index (Cultural journals from 1993 to present). Search results are provided in printed form or on CD for visitors.
The information and internet service section is located on the +1 floor, in the eastern side of the halls and adjacent to the Art Hall. It currently offers search services using more than 30 computers for visitors, with the help of the Rasa software and the Full-Text Articles Database (Namamatn).
Internet access is free within the designated time limits. Search results are available in printed form or on CD. In addition to the computers available in this section, members can also use their own laptops to access the internet, in accordance with the library’s regulations.
